
Kimberly L. Keller, PhD, serves as Associate Professor, Genetics/Cell and Molecular Biology at Alice L. Walton School of Medicine. In this role, she is developing and delivering the School’s genetics and cell and molecular biology curriculum.
Bio
Prior to joining the School, Dr. Keller was Professor of Biology at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, where she received the Louis D. Beaumont Dad’s Associations Distinguished Professor Award for Excellence in Teaching. She also served as a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Biochemistry Department at the University of Missouri and a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Biology Department at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Dr. Keller received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Wilmington College of Ohio and a master’s degree and PhD in biological sciences from Bowling Green State University.
Dr. Keller has published research, presented research nationally, and mentored students on their own research projects. She is a member of the Rosalind Franklin Society, the American Society of Microbiology, and the Association for Biology Laboratory Education.
